Obituary of John Hagenberger

John Hagenberger, age 77, a longtime resident of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on January 24th, 2020 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida. He was the son of John and Marjorie Hagenberger from New York and Florida. John will be will be greatly missed by his sister Cheryl Hagenberger Bancroft and brother-in-law David Bancroft of San Francisco. His nieces Jennifer Serpan from Danville and Jessica Braun from Arlington Heights and his nephew James Bancroft from Culver City have fond memories of their “Uncle John.” In addition he had two uncles and many cousins who will remember his fortitude in the face of the many health challenges that he endured. He was a valued member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers for many years and traveled all over the country as his job required. His passion was working on and collecting vintage Mustangs and he was a proud member of the Space Coast Mustang Club. He loved his “Cubbies” baseball team and a good game of golf.
