I was Harvey's paramedic partner for 1 year in Richmond after Wright Shields in 1980. We worked for CVAS , and stayed friends for many years after and often reminisced about our time working together. He called me " Uncle Fuzzo" Harvey always had my back and I his! He knew Richmond like the back of his hand. An American hero .The very best!!
One could not ask for a better friend or working companion. He is deeply missed.

My hope is that you find a measure of comfort in God’s promises from the Bible. Revelation 21:3 and 4.

Harvey was an old family friend since the 60’s . He lived the life of legends and literally gave all for his country. He was taken way too soon and will be missed as well as honored forever. Condolences to his grieving wife Lauren, his family, and friends. R.I.P. dear friend. You will be rewarded for your brave service to your country, your kindness, generosity, and compassion in helping all those less fortunate and those in need all over the world. Truly an American hero, the likes of which will never be seen again. Hope to be lucky enough to see you on the other side one day friend and catch up on old times.

I am saddened to see the obituary for Harvey. I saw Harvey when he visited his Mother who was my neighbor. Walton spoke of Harvey frequently and was concerned for him 26 working in Iraq-Afghanistan. I thought of him this Bike Week. Harvey and some friends would stay with his Mom
when he could — and then roar off on motorcycles to enjoy Daytona. My deepest sympathy to all his family.

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Harvey Amos. When someone we love dies, the heartache and grief can be unbearable. I hope you will find ucomfort in knowing that God cares for you and sees your pain. (1Peter 5:7) He is close to the broken hearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:18) May you find comfort and relief during this difficult time, as you cherish the fond memories of Harvey.
