Obituary of Robert E. Schoenly

Schoenly, Robert (75) – Passed into the arms of the Lord on Friday, November 3rd, with his wife at his side. Survived by his wife Barbara; sons Michael, Steven, and Robert Schoenly; daughter Christie DePriest; and 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Howard Schoenly in 2015. Robert, born in Valley Stream, New York, was a Navy veteran. He moved to Palm Bay, Florida in 1985. Robert was devoted to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was involved in the ministries of Cursillo, RCIA, FOCUS, and Sacristan. Robert was a pillar of love, faith and strength to everyone he met. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and member of the community. A celebration of life will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1626 Oak Street, Melbourne, Florida 32901, on Thursday, November 9 at 1:30 pm.
