Obituary of Paul M. Degnan

Paul M. Degnan Sr., 74, of Palm Bay, Florida went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday the 30th of January, 2015. He leaves behind his wife Marianne of 52 years. Paul and Marianne moved from Oxford Mass. in 1986, and settled with their family in Palm Bay. Paul worked with the Local Teamster Union where he was a freight line driver. Paul also was involved in various charitable activities, and Knights of Columbus of Oxford Ma. Paul was a dedicated Marine, serving his country proudly. Paul loved his family and fully put his trust in the Lord. We take comfort in knowing that he went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Paul leaves behind his children; Paul M.,(Ronda), Sheryl Degnan Fields, (Eric), Thomas W., (Lisa), James J., (Kelly), and Michael J., (Rebecah). Paul was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Paul also leaves behind a twin sister, Paula Cleveland of Fl., a sister Connie Lowney of Webster Ma., and twin siblings who preceded him in death, Vincent and Kathleen Degnan Sweeney. He also has numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved German Shepherd, Sasha.A Memorial Service is planned for Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road, SE, Palm Bay, Florida at 1 p.m.In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to “Wounded Warrior Foundation”.
