Obituary of Marie J. Branagh
Marie Branagh, 71, passed on February 14th, 2020 in her hometown of Malabar, Florida from sepsis in relation to Pancreatic Cancer.
She was born on May 10th, 1948 in Rome, NY. She met the love of her life, Robert Francis Branagh, in 1966 at a rodeo. All it took was one date and ever since, have been happily married for 53 years.
Marie lovingly raised two sons; Robert Walter Branagh and Kelly James Branagh; she then went on to continue that love for her grandchildren, Traeley Nicole Branagh, Taylor Christine Branagh and Ethan James Branagh; as well as her great-grandchildren, Abella Mae Branagh and Aislyn Shay Branagh. She played an active and vital role in all her grandchildren’s lives. She will live on through them, as Grandma and Nonni.
She retired from Harris as an Administrative Assistant. Retirement never slowed her down, she often volunteered at Salvation Army and never sat still for a minute.
Marie’s late parents were James Raymond and Josephine Crawford. She has five sisters; Lorraine LeBeau, Diane Jackson, Jamie Stroschein, Deborah Raymond and Jackie Preston; and many nieces and nephews.
Her viewing will be between the hours of 3:00 p.m. ~ 4:00 p.m. with her funeral service immediately following at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Palm Bay Chapel. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home the hour prior to the service. Following the service, there will be a reception at the Branagh home.
In the words of her grandchildren, “Grandma was a spunky one who inspired us to shoot for the stars.”
