we shall meet again…
With all my heart I would like to express our sincere condolences to all Lillian’s bereaved, also in the name of her cousins Stilla and Elfriede, nee Weidinger.
Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet her in person. I just know a few old stories of my father (her cousin) about her mother Mary, her aunt Kreszenz and her uncle Frank. For example, she already sailed across the big pond at the age of 5 to see her grandmother one last time.
that’s why …we shall meet again.

To all of Lillie’s relatives–your Mom was one in a million, and all her friends and I agreed that she was the shining light when she walked into a room. I know you will miss the magnitude of this loss, but we in the Bluffs saw her so frequently, and a light in the Bluffs has been forever silenced. Charmin’ Charlies has gone to Heaven as well, and I know Lillie will be shopping in his store in Heaven and will have many new pieces of jewelry and stories to tell the many friends who have predeceased her. My deepest sympathy to Vicki, Laurie, Jeff and family: Lillian was always so proud of all her family and the joy they brought to her life was very evident.. I have lost the best friend and the smartest person I ever knew. I was very fortunate to meet her when I started working at Bell Labs. She encouraged me to try computers and helped me in ways too numerous to mention and, because of her, I was forever changed. I missed her when she moved to Jupiter, but was happy she enjoyed the area and her many good friends. She was one of the sweetest, one of the best. Rest in Peace Lil.

Dear Vicki and family, I will miss my Marilyn Monroe, so very very much. I loved her to the depth of my heart… I wanted so much to see her when I was in Fla. but because of her hospitalization I could not. I will miss her calling me and saying ” How are you darling?” What a wonderful person she is. I say is because her spirit is here with all of us….. The pool will never be the same….. The Bluffs will never be the same… I will miss my Joy of the Bluffs so very much….. Lots of tears right now heartbreak for me…. I worked for Lilly for over 15 years. She was also my friend. Lilly always had a smile and upbeat outlook on life. I will cherish all the stories she’s told me over the years as well as her good advice. To her dedicated family, I am sorry for your loss.

Lover of life is how I would describe my mom’s good friend Lillian. She had flair, style and opinion that I loved. Although I moved from FL many years ago one of the stops I would make when I visited my sister Kim in Jupiter would be to see Lillian. She had such a passion for her views and of course it helped that I shared her same world view. Smart lady and always on the go. I will miss my visit with her this year.
