Daisy, Juanita, Wayne, and Sean,
Words cannot express what I would like to say to you today. But I can say that my heart is with you on this sad day. I loved Stephen. I have great memories of him and the good times that I spent with him as a child. Steve will be missed by all of us. I’m sorry that I did not have as close a contact with him over the years, but he was always in my heart, and in my mind, and in my prayers. All of you are in my prayers today as you go through when the most difficult times that you will be called to experience, but remember God loves all of his children. Even when we don’t understand the hard times we can believe in our heart that God knows what is right and does what is right. If Steve could say anything to you today he would say I love you, and don’t grieve over me, just remember me and know that I love you too. So be comforted today knowing that God cares and that Steven loves you even now that he is no longer with you.
