Obituary of Irene Theresa Mandarino
Irene Theresa Marcinkiewicz Ezersky Mandarino peacefully began her new life with our Lord today, August 3, 2016, after a 2 1/2 year fight with cancer. Born on October 29, 1929 in Brooklyn to Alexander and Kazimiera Marcinkiewicz, she spent half of her life in NY.
Irene and her 1st husband, Joseph Ezersky, had 5 children, Christine, Bob, Paul, Patricia and a son Daniel, who passed away at birth.
After the death of her husband Joe, she met and married Lou Mandarino, and moved to Florida in 1977, where she continued to live after Lou’s death in 1991.
Irene is survived by her daughter and caretaker, Patricia Ezersky; son, Bob Ezersky and his wife, Jackie; daughter-in-law, Nanette Ezersky. Irene was “Babci” to grandchildren, Corey Ezersky and his wife AJ, Lindsay Ezersky O’Brien and her husband, Tony, Anthony Ezersky and his wife, Kerry; great – grandchildren, Cooper, Tucker and London Ezersky; Madison, Payton and Colin O’Brien; Keegan, Harper and Kinsley Ezersky. She also leaves behind her older sister, Jean Janiec; niece, Barbara Gering; nephew, Ken Janiec and his wife, Judy; niece Diane Schreck and her husband, Gary; nephew Joseph Larnaitis and his wife, Lisa; numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews, along with good family friends, who lovingly referred to her as Aunt.
She is predeceased by her daughter Christine McAlonan and son, Paul Ezersky.
