Obituary of Keith Allen Jobes
Keith Allen Jobes, Palm Bay, FL; Formerly of Rochester, NY. Aged 78 years, Keith died peacefully January 25, 2019, surrounded by his family.
Born December 16, 1940, in Brownsville, PA, he was the son of the late James and Claire (Livingston) Jobes.
A Veteran of the United States Army and Army National Guard of Delaware, Keith enjoyed a lengthy career with Eastman Kodak’s Government Systems Division. After retirement, he was dedicated to taking care of his family. Always the life of the party, he was quick-witted and an avid storyteller. Every vacation was an adventure, every holiday was magical, and every day spent with him was a gift.
He is survived by his wife, Lana; his daughters, Sharon (Jason) Vance and Kimberly (Anthony) Cenzi; Step-children, Melissa (Bob) Hickman, Stephen Swieton, and Susan (Guy) Hoote; Grandchildren, Jessica (George) Hunger, Anna (Drew) Smith, Brianne (Josh) Kendrick, James Chechak, Stephanie Ziegler, Daniel Molodkin, and Karolyn Hickman; 8 great-grandchildren; and his faithful cat, Willow.
Friends and family will be received at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care’s Chapel, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL, on Wednesday, January 30, at 5:00 p.m., and again at the Church of the Epiphany, 3285 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY, on Saturday, February 2, at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Animals Live and Overcome (HALO) Rescue Florida, 710 Jackson Street, Sebastian, FL, 32958, or visit halorescuefl.org.
