Obituary of William Henry Roberts

William Henry Roberts, 86, of Palm Bay, FL died August 22, 2015, six days before his 87th birthday. He was born August 28, 1928 in Albany, NY to William Henry and Helen Amanda Pope Roberts, Sr. His family includes his wife of 57 years Bessie Roberts; daughter Amanda (Tom) Atwater; sonMichael (Cecy) Roberts; granddaughter Alyssa (Fabian) Medina; grandson Rory (Justine) Richards; great granddaughter Kaiden and great grandson Parker. Bill graduated from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY with a bachelors degree in electrical engineering in 1957. Out of college he went to work for Sylvania in Emporium PA where he met his wife Bessie. Later in his career he went to work for Texscan as a technical writer composing handbooks and manuals for cable tv. He served honorably in the US Navy. He and his wife previously lived in Ocala, FL and New York.
