Obituary of Ellen Taylor Musser

Ellen (Betty) Taylor Musser 82 passed away on April 5, 2017, peacefully at William Childs Hospice House. Born June 18, 1934 in Gray Court, South Carolina she came to Merritt Island, Florida after graduating from Carson Newman University in 1956 to teach school. For Brevard County Schools she taught at Freedom 7, Merritt Island, and Saturn Elementary Schools. Ellen is survived by her daughter Margaret (Beth) Burgan and her husband Jim of Rockledge, FL; her son Richard Musser and his wife Linda of West Melbourne FL; grandchildren Callahan Brach of Orlando, FL., Sara Burgan of Asheville, NC, and Gregory Musser of Orlando, FL; and many nieces and nephews. Ellen is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Arthur Franklin Musser Jr.; her father Robert Richard Taylor and her mother Sara Elizabeth Taylor; her brothers Robert Lewis Taylor, Clark Berry Taylor, Dr. Roy Parsons Taylor, Rev. Frank Carroll Taylor, and Jerry Lee Taylor; her sisters Mary Rachel Taylor and Sara Francis Heaton. A memorial service will be held for Ellen and Arthur Musser 10:30 am on May 15, 2017 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
