Obituary of Dorothy K. Griffin

Born August 8, 1929 in Brace, Tennessee, she was raised on a farm with her parents, Ola & Willis King, and four siblings Lelon, Mary, Virginia and Faye. Dorothy was the oldest of the girls. January 9, 1953, she married James Roy Griffin and started their family. In 1956 they moved to Florida in the Orlando area. In 1962 they moved to Melbourne where they lived out their lives. James Roy died July 8, 2008. Dorothy is survived by four of her children Charles, Joe, Gaynell and Cecil, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, James Roy on July 8, 2008; both her parents; her brother; and her third son, James F., who lost his fight with cancer on March 1, 2014. She is now with our Lord in peace. We love and miss you.
