Obituary of David Michael Stanton
David Stanton, age 63, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019.
He was born on March 1, 1955 in Boston, Massachusetts to the parents of John and Claudia Stanton.
David was a hard working man and a great provider for his wife Patricia and sons David and Christopher. He had a couple different occupations early in his life including working in the mill room at GE in Lowell, Massachusetts and he owned a used car lot in Turner, Maine. In 1990 he got his CDL and became an over the road truck driver till he retired in 2008.
He loved working on things and repairing stuff. It was a passion of his to take something someone threw away and make it work like new again. His hobbies included cars, birds, he enjoyed a good game of poker with his family and friends and he enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino or a cruise out on the Victory Casino ship.
He was a great man who would make friends where ever he went. Dave could talk to anyone, and within seconds of talking to him you would think you had been friends for years.
David is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons David M. Stanton Jr. and his wife Stephanie and Christopher Stanton and his wife Kristen; 4 grandchildren, Seth, Tyler, Madeline and Aiyanna; brothers Robert and Richard and his wife Diane as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of David’s life will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 2pm till 8pm at the Village Glen Clubhouse, 1825 Marywood Rd., Melbourne, FL 32934.
