Obituary of Janet L. Maratty

Janet L. Maratty, loving Mom, Mother, Gramzie and Great-Gramzie, passed away on June 20th, 2019 at the age of 80. She is survived by her children, Janna Corbin (Frank), Keith Stevenson (Shelly), Jenny Hart (Tim), Kyle Stevenson (Connie) and Jimmy Lewter. Grandchildren, Andrew (Liz), Elizabeth (Mike), Jason, Brandon, Candice, Jessica (Cameron), Kasey, Kelsey and Kylea. Great-Grandchildren, Hannah, Mara, Sarah, Ethan, Cainen, Dexter and Athena. Sons-in-law, Dennis, Gary. Daughter-in-law, Melanie. Plus many more nieces, nephews and other family members and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Becht, and her parents, Isaac S. Holloway and Margaret E. Holloway. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she retired in Florida. She was a beautiful lady. Opinionated, passionate, outspoken, determined, stubborn, fun and hilarious! Kept the crowd laughing until the very end, and probably still is. Everywhere she went, she made friends, and loved making people laugh. She will be greatly missed by all! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
