Obituary of Charles Harlin Davis

Captain Charles Harlin Davis, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on October 25, 1940. He was a Military Police Officer in the United States Army during his time of service. He was a United States Coast Guard licensed Merchant Marine Officer, a PADI certified Dive Master and avid hunter. He loved music and could make a guitar “sing”. He was predeceased by his parents, Chester Manuel Davis and Eunice Frances Davis. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife, Sharon T. Davis; three children, Charles Harlin, II “Sonny” and Renee Davis of Palm Bay, Florida, Brian Lee Davis of Satellite Beach, Florida, and Charlene and John Sharkey of Evans, Georgia; his stepchildren, Rene and Tom Noble of Palm Bay, Florida and Boe Gardner of Palm Bay, Florida; his sister, Kay Frances Davis of Ridge Manor, Florida; his brother James Edward and Marie Davis of Adams County, Colorado; many grandchildren, extended family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Palm Bay, Florida. There will be a celebration of life at 1pm Friday, October 4, 2019 at First Baptist Melbourne, Jr. High Chapel, 3301 Dairy Road, Melbourne, Florida. “And he said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise” Luke 23:43 Although we will miss him, we know he found peace in his soul and had God in his heart.
