Obituary of Patricia A Wilks

Patricia Ann Wilks, 83, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016. Pat was a loving wife to her late husband Burt, a wonderful Mother to her three daughters, and a loving and caring Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Her family includes her late husband, Herbert W. “Burt” Wilks, Jr.; daughters, Janet Felgenhauer, Chris (Joe) Romot, Diane McPadden, and her late daughter, Melody Wilks, grandchildren, John Romot, Aly Romot, Brian Romot, Neeta Romot, Brett McPadden, Carrie Wilks and Julie Felgenhauer, great grandchildren, Kareena Avani, Gloria Sophie, Jamie Brown and Christopher Weining, and her great great grandson, Jacob Brown. She was a Harris Corporation Retiree and a Pastoral Minister for Our Lady of Grace and St. Joseph+óGé¼Gäós Churches. She was active in all church functions and was an avid volunteer. Pat and Burt traveled extensively in Europe staying at local B&B+óGé¼Gäós to get the feel for local customs. She has taken close to 40 cruises covering the Caribbean and Mediterranean; crossed the Atlantic; gone through the Panama Canal, Alaska and around the Hawaiian Islands. One of her favorite yearly joys was the family reunion at Vero Beach. It was a time for all to relax, catch up and just have fun. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Vincent DePaul in her memory.Funeral mass is at 10AM on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Miller Street, Palm Bay. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, alongside of her late husband.
