Obituary of William R. “Cowboy Bill” Agley
Cowboy Bill as he was lovingly known, passed to be with the Lord on Saturday, November, 9th 2019.
He was the son of Reginald and Marion Agley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son William “whopper” Thomas Agley, his stepson Jeffrey Downing and his sister Regina Cortese.
He is survived by his loving wife Sylvia Agley, his step-children Bobette and Royce Haley, Randy and Terry Downing. His cousin Lillis Romines and his nephew Reggie Cortese. He has six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Cowboy Bill will forever be remembered as a shining light, he always had loving words for those close to him and a quick joke for those that didn’t know him. He always aimed to please and make life easier for those who surrounded him.
Bill served his country honorably as part of the United States Army Corps of Engineers with 10th Mountain Division.
He was a member of Veteran’s Church and he loved the chapel like he loved his home. He also was part of the VFW Auxiliary and considered them his family and loved them as such.

Bill will be laid to rest at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 29 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Highway 1 in Mims, Florida.
Following Bills interment a celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. at VFW Post 4206, 3201 Dairy Road in Melbourne.
