Obituary of Roy P. Backus

Roy P. Backus, age 73, passed on Monday, July 22, 2019. He was born on March 9, 1946 in Watertown, New York to the late Stanley and Leona (Rosha) Backus, Sr. He proudly fought in the Vietnam War from 1968~1969. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Lorilie A. Backus; daughters, Kimberly (Ron) France, Christy (Richie) Congdon, and Karie (Bob) Gamble; grandchildren, Ronnie J., Destini, Jerodd, Skilier and Jacobb; great grandchildren, Marcus, Sylas and Jerodd Roy; brother, Stanley S. Backus, Jr.; and his sister, Brenda L. Dattolo. Arrangements by Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Rockledge, 632-1350.
