Obituary of Thomas Kenneth Mathew

Thomas Kenneth Mathew, age 86, husband of Annamma Mathew of Melbourne, FL went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2018. He was born in Kerala, South India and immigrated to the US via New York City in 1973 where he worked for American Direct Mail Company until his retirement in 2000. He was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed playing billiards with his friends and family at their home, and writing Christian songs and singing with his lovely wife of almost 56 years. He was a follower of Jesus Christ and worshiped at Epiphany Mar Thoma Church in New York and Calvary Chapel of Melbourne after moving to Florida in 2014. He is survived by his wife Annamma; daughters Anne (Terry) and Susan; son Joe (Karen); grandchildren Jasmine, Alan, Jason (Chrissy), Stephanie, Michael (Kati), Christina, Joshua; great grandson Dylan; brothers Joy (Aleykutty), Babychan (Leela) and sister Thankamma; a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and close friends. The viewing and services will be held at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL from 5-9 pm on Friday, April 13th. His funeral service will be on Saturday, April 14th at 9:30 am at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Melbourne, followed by his burial at Florida Memorial Gardens at 5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955. Reception and celebration of life will be held at 1pm following the burial, at the home of Susan Pellerin at 4B Venetian Way, Indian Harbour Beach, FL, 32937 .
