Obituary of Philip L. Batura

Batura, Philip 1931-2019 passed away on Thursday May 16th, 2019 at the age of 88 at his home in Melbourne, Florida. Born in Lachine, Québec, Canada, he was the son of a Ukrainian father Nicholas Batura and a French mother Fabiola St. Aubin. They immigrated to the USA. Leaving two daughters, Lynda (John) and Michelle (Michael). He was grandfather to Melissa (Michael), Adamo (Francesca), Nicholas (Cheryl), Zachary (Jaclyn) and Chad. He was great grandfather to Evan, Leah, Jason, Sébastien, Vivienne, Violet, Felix, Colton, Hayden and Parker. He is predeceased by his parents, sister Therese, his brother Gerry (Therese) and first wife. He leaves behind 2 ex-wives. He held several interesting positions as an entrepreneur, engineer, and finally fulfilling his success as a real estate developer & broker. He lived life on his own terms with no regrets of reaching for the stars and achieving all his lifelong dreams. Phil had a passion for golf that was the center of his social network. He enjoyed his final Master’s tournament and celebrated Tiger Woods’ victory!
