I write with heavy heart. Lost. Unsure. Lost in thought, why….. he was one of the beautiful ones. Polite, gentle, caring, humble, giving and with a smile that would light the darkest of rooms.
Unsure, did I soak in all the words of wisdom from my mentor?
In the coming days, I now have to practice what I have been preaching to many at a time like this. I will begin to find “comfort” in knowing that my dear friend is no longer suffering or in pain. That he will be resting in peace, in heaven. I will begin to learn how to move forward with the “memories”. Memories of the passion he had for his work, his smile, his love of animals and many, many more. I will learn to move forward with the last words Mike spoke to me………
“It’s okay…..Everything will be fine”.
I will miss big brother. Thank you for the love and care you blessed my family and I with.
Till we meet again. Love Always.
Robin, thank you for sharing Mike with my family and I. You and Mike will forever be in our hearts and prayers.
Our sincerest condolences & many blessings to you…… Always.
