Obituary of Leo A. Phelps

Leo A. Phelps died at his daughter’s home in Palm Bay, FL, at the age of 86. Leo is survived by his children, Stephany, Kimberly, Joseph, Jessica, Sarah, Luke and Robbie.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jean Phelps. Before retiring, Leo was a skilled mechanic in Los Angeles, CA. Leo moved to Brevard county as a change of scenery and to live with his daughters, Sarah and Kim.  Leo generously dedicated to his children and their families.  Upon moving to Brevard County, he fell in love with Florida, and appreciated very much the goodness the state had given him. He loved his church, Holy Trinity Episcopal, where a small service will be held on August 9, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.  A full funeral service will be held in Morgantown, KY, where Leo was born.  That service will be held on August 31, 2019 at 1:00 at Temple View General Baptist Church.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Leo’s life.
