Obituary of Michael L. Spencer
Michael L. Spencer, May 11, 1954 ~ May 6, 2018, retired Software Engineer at Intersil Corporation, loved his wife, his daughters and their families, his family, being Gramps, bowling, rum and Cokes, visiting Machu Picchu, Easter Island and Alaska, the Miami Dolphins, the New York Yankees, grilling, fantasy books, bad sci-fi movies, crossword puzzles, and travel.
He was a laid back, witty, gentle, smart, and thoughtful soul—a giver. A connoisseur of bad jokes and an aficionado of funny t-shirts, he despised idiot presidents, arrogance, long-windedness, and liars. His unwavering hope was that the Miami Dolphins win their first Super Bowl since the 1970s.
His only regret was that he wouldn’t be able to see his granddaughter, Monroe Quinn, grow up.
