I was always so happy to see David when I got a chance to, though I never lived near him. He was such a joy to be around, and I fondly remember when we played cards and pool together and how he was always so kind and fun. Becca and I are heartbroken. Deepest love and condolences to Barbara. You and all his family and friends are in my thoughts.

David was as kind as they come. My great memories come from the growing – up days in Indy when, even as a youngster, David’s smile was worth a million bucks. I pray to St. Joseph to help Barbara and all who mourn this sad and untimely loss.

We were so grateful to John and David for helping us when we lived two doors down in our first home. Jug and David helped us move to our new home and were always willing to do anything. We have never met such caring in a family since!!
Heaven will welcome you !!

David is to me, the dear friend of my father from my earliest memories, the husband and truest companion to my aunt Barbara, the gentle, generous, and kind great uncle to my children. David’s loss cuts deeply through many layers of our family. Peace to David, Peace to Aunt Barbara, and Peace to all who are feeling his loss.

Not only was he a great uncle, but truly a great man. There are no words to describe how truly great a man he was. Also, not too shabby at free throws either. If God needed some repairs around heaven, he chose the right man for the job. Aunt Barb, we love you and are so sorry for your loss.

David was truly as his family has described! We have been blessed to have known David and Barbara. They were so kind to us and our family through some very challenging times. We so enjoyed special visits with them and have such happy memories of Easter with them and their sweet family. David had a smile for everyone and never failed to offer his help if needed. He brightened our 11:00AM Mass at Immaculate Conception Church most every Sunday! We, too, are originally from Indianapolis and shared that hoosier mindset and background. We just did move back to Indianapolis two weeks ago, so will be unable to attend his memorial Mass and service. We certainly would be there if we could! The last thing that David promised us, was that he and Barbara would visit us when they next came to Indy. We look forward to that visit from Barbara and will know that he will accompany Barbara in spirit! His goodness and sweet smile remain in our hearts and minds! God bless him, Barbara, and their family! We send our love and condolences to all of them.

Glad to have had you as a friend. Wonderful memories. You and I sweeping walkway together, remember helping you put the drain gutter back up on the end of the parking facilities. Me coming out once in a while as you and Doug had a cold beer together at the baroque area. Memories that can never be erased. Nancy and pete
