Our sincere condolences to the family of our fine neighbor Ann Beck. Ann and her husband Bob built their new home on Country Club Road in 1955 just around the corner from the home on Melbourne Avenue that the Sargents purchased the same year. For many years it was home for Betty Sargent and her sons Bill and Jimmy. It is now the home of Bill and and his wife Barbara. We always commented on the beauty of the Beck home. Very often through the years we’d see Mrs. Beck working in her yard, forever making it appear perfect. It was obvious Mrs. Beck took great pride in her home and herself as well. She always dressed beautifully with so much class. We will surely miss her as the fine neighbor and beautiful lady that she was for all those years.
