Obituary of James A. Raper

Lifelong+é-áOrlando, FL resident James A. Raper, 71, died May 22, 2015, in Palm Bay, FL. Jim was born May 21, 1944, in Orlando, FL., to Pauline and JT Raper. He was raised by his mother and Curtis Farless after the untimely death of his father. Jim was an Army veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing and was passionate about racing. He is survived by his three children and their spouses, Erin and Rod Rauch, Jamie and Heather Raper and Sam and Jessica Raper as well as his 5 grandchildren Carlie, Riley, Jackson, Mason, Juliana. He is preceded in death by his parents, step father and brother David Raper. At his request, no service will be held. Jim+óGé¼Gäós wish was to have his children to take his cremated remains to Eldora Speedway in Ohio where he enjoyed spending time. Arrangements are being made to accommodate his wish at a later date. Friends and family will be received on June 6th, 2015 from 3-6 PM at the home of Erin Rauch, at 234 N Dillard St, Winter Garden, FL. The family extends thanks to everyone who was able to visit Jim in his final days and a special thank you to Vitas Hospice for providing care for him as well.
