Obituary of Frances Ann Krzeminski
Frances Ann (Smith) Krzeminski, 67, passed away on January 16, 2020 in Melbourne, Florida.
She was born on February 6, 1952, in North Adams, MA to Mr. and Mrs. Frances Smith (who have predeceased her, as well as her brother and sister).
She is survived by her loving husband Anthony Krzeminski, whom she married on June 8, 1974.
Fran graduated from Drury High in 1970. She went on to graduate from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 1974 with a B.S. Elementary Education degree, and then a B.S. Computer Science degree in 1983. In between in 1976, she also graduated with an A.S. in Business Data Processing degree from Berkshire Community College.
Fran worked as a Senior Data Analyst for over 23 years at Northrop Grumman Corporation in Melbourne.
Fran was a devoted wife. She and her husband loved to travel and it was one of the reasons she kept going. They visited all over the United States, Europe, and Columbia, South America. She also enjoyed concerts, motorcycle rides, water parks, and Disney World. She and Tony loved to swim and take French classes, which they’ve been doing for eight years. Some of her favorite things to do were dining out, shopping with friends, and sharing her experiences on Facebook.
She was one of the longest living liver transplant recipients in the United States, with her liver being 29 years old on April 20, 2019. She also had a 21 year old kidney as of March 28, 2019 and neither of those ever held her back. She went to all the transplant games and won gold and bronze medals in swimming.
She lived life to the fullest, was very outgoing, and always smiled the biggest smile for a camera.
There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.
A memorial service will be held at the Knights of Columbus, 6725 Babcock Street, Malabar, on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 1-3 pm.
Donations can be sent in lieu of flowers to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.
