Obituary of Carolyn Pluchino

~ West Melbourne ~ Carolyn (Lynn) Pluchino, 60, a resident of West Melbourne, Florida and formerly of Deer Park, New York, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, Florida. Born in New York, NY on May 23, 1957 she was the daughter of Catherine and the late Honorable Paul T. D’Amaro. Lynn was a free spirit. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She loved to read, cook, paint, dance, listen to music, sing, watch movies and was working on a novel.  Lynn’s passion for music led her to start a Disc Jockey business where she and Sal enjoyed entertaining people of all ages for many years. She was also fond of spoiling her dog Sky. On May 26, 1985 she married the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Salvatore (Sal) Pluchino, who survives at home. She is survived by her son John, her mother Catherine, her sister Diane D’Amaro Eldridge and husband David of Northport, NY, brother Paul D’Amaro and wife Anna of Middle Island, NY, brother Gary D’Amaro and wife Gina of Smithtown, NY, brother-in-law Biagio Pluchino and wife Jane of Lagrangeville, NY and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Carolyn Pluchino’s memory to support Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Lunch and refreshments will be served in the Fellowship hall at 1:30 located adjacent to the sanctuary. – Casual attire please – Parking is available in the back of the church and can be accessed by going south on Smith Ave. On Main street there is a parking lot directly across from the church that may also be used. Carolyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
