Obituary of James Robert Donaldson

James Robert Donaldson Sr. passed away on November 2, 2014 at the ripe old age of 96.-á-áHe lived the last 10 years in-áMelbourne, Florida where he enjoyed round and square dancing, making Christmas ornaments from cards and whittling.-áHis prior years were spent in central New York where he enjoyed round and square dancing, roller skating and building canoes. He was an active member of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association. -á He is survived by wife Mary Margaret Donaldson of East Syracuse, NY; daughters Diane and Deborah;-ásons-á-áJames, Mark, Paul, and Thomas;-á14 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren -á He served in Europe during WWII, 1st Sergeant, D Company, 28th-áInfantry Regiment, 8th-áInfantry Division and was Honorably Discharged in 1945.-á-á -á
