Obituary of Barry Fitzsimmons

Devoted husband and father, Barry Fitzsimmons, 64, died Friday, February 7, 2014. Born in New Jersey, he had been a Brevard resident since 1962. He worked as a milkman for Borden Dairy for 39 years. Though the work was hard and the days were long, he enjoyed his co-workers and loved his customers, at the many schools and businesses he delivered to. Barry and wife Carol, of 43 years, were never happier than when spending time in their home in Melbourne Beach, or traveling to her art shows, across the country. They have one son, Fletcher Fitzsimmons of Indialantic, of whom Barry was extremely proud. He is survived by two nieces Chelsea Traver and family, of Bloomington IL and Beth Haman of GA; two nephews Trevor Haman and family, of Indialantic, and Todd Haman of GA. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care. No calling hours or service is planned at this time.
