Obituary of Florence Allene Hershey

Born September 23, 1940, passed away peacefully at her home on October 3, 2019 in Rockledge, Florida. She was a true christian, loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin and a one of a kind friend. She was an Author, Singer, Caretaker, Provider and Loving Soul. Allene was preceded in death by her true love, Joseph T. Hershey, Sr. and her son Dale Lemasters, Jr.. A wonderful mother of seven Allene is survived by six children, sons, Randy (Tammy) Lemasters, Jay (Becky) Lemasters, Paul (April)  Lemasters, Tim (Brandi) Lemasters, Cook (Missy) Lemasters and daughter, Cindy (Henry Benz) Lemasters Volanty; sister, Bonnie Goans. Loving stepmother of Joe Hershey, Jr., Virginia Hershey and Ray (Aileen) Hershey. Grandmother of 23 and step grandmother of four. Many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her very special best friend (sister) Lovie Moats. In addition to her husband and son. Allene was preceded by her brothers, Leo (Gerri) Blankenship, Paul (Brenda) Blankenship and Roger Blankenship. MOM OF SEVEN OUR ANGEL NOW IN HEAVEN. Friends and loved ones can join us for a celebration of life on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a light luncheon from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at North Coast Baptist Church, 2051 Quail St. Lakewood, Ohio 44017.
